Untold Treasures

A beautiful handcrafted cotton Wayuu mochila bag made by the Wayuu people; a Native American ethnic group from the desert region of 'La Guajira' in North-East Colombia. The women learn the tradition of weaving at an early age and it is passed down through the generations to keep the craft alive. Each bag takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks to make. The traditional patterns and shapes are designed by the individual at the time of weaving and represent how they were feeling at the time.

Features

This backpack is a modern twist on the traditional mochila using quality leather to convert the style of the bag. It features a woven plate closure with a magnet clasp plus two adjustable leather straps.

Please be aware that due to the handmade nature of our products, small imperfections and variations in shape and size may occur.
